Meet Imogen Smythe, owner of Immie's Emporium, an arts and crafts shop, and artisan gallery, in Upper Creighton. Single mum, mid-forties. Currently in possession of a dead body on her shop floor.
It's December 1st, and the grisly discovery amidst the scattered greetings cards is just the beginning of Immie's problems. Suspected of murder, and plagued by a poison pen intent on scaring away her customers and driving a wedge between her and her fellow shopkeepers, Immie must fight to prove her innocence before year's end.
Rachel is an occasional poet, and was delighted to be an award winner at the Chiltern Arts Festival 2022.
